Curated by historian Graham Greasley, there will be a jam-packed heritage exhibition at Chirk Parish Hall which will bring together archives, collections, and wide-ranging diverse local histories for the first time under one roof. You will be able to pick up a special edition map at the Parish Hall created by Historians Graham Greasley and Deryn Poppitt to take a self-led heritage walk around the town. Deryn and Graham work together to preserve and share Chirk’s social and industrial history. Through research, publications, and Graham’s extensive archive of postcards, photos, and documents, they both strive to highlight the lives of the people who built and shaped the town, ensuring future generations can understand its heritage.
